Quality Ram

For overclocking purposes I'm told I need quality ram. How do I tell and where can I get it at the lowest price?

www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) is the best place for price, but you never know what you're going to get.

If it's PC100 you want, look for CAS2 RAM that is 8ns or lower. It is preferable, but not mandatory, that the chips are from brand manufacturers so it's easy to get info about them (i.e. Micron -8e, SEC, Hyundai, etc.).

If you want guaranteed quality and willing to foot alittle extra money, try www.minotaur.com (http://www.minotaur.com) . The service is top notch and Jon's stuff is alway high quality. I believe he carries Corsair DIMMs (very high quality) which uses chips from Siemens and Micron.

Go to step, they have PC150 ram, CAS 2 I believe, that mean at cas 3 it is PC170, and you can always overclock to say, PC200?
