The price is about the same. Would you rather have a Celeron 466 PPGA or a AMD k6-3 400. Why? To be used for surfing mostly, very few games.

the c466. Not only is it faster/mhz...it's faster faster too, for games. /forum/smile.gif

What MB would you recommend for the C366 or C466?

Definately go for the k6-3. It will blow away the cely. k6-3s are on par with p3 performance wise, except for sse accelerated programs.

DUDE! The P3 runs slower than the celeron at the same speed!!! Get the 366 that is guaranteed to 550.

for a mobo, you wont lose with any ABIT board - they are great. for a celery i would recommend a BM6 for single cpu, and BP6 for dual cpus

If a c366 overclocks to 550, what will the c466 do?

Then there is no question the c366 is the one to buy. You can get about the same mhz from them and the c366 is 50.00 less. Thanks guys.

A guaranteed OC'd 366 is selling fast. Also, the best ones are in the PPGA format from what I understand. If you pick a SLOT 1 MB,Get a IWILL converter.I heard it's the best for the money.......DawgTuff.
