C-D drive swap steps

So glad to hear from all you!!!! I think I have a better look at how to attack this. As for first steps: Should I erase everything on these two drives? If I don't erase and just move cables around to change the master/slave, what happens to the data? At some point I have to erase the Op Sys off of C and put it on D. I was thinking a complete reinstall of Windows, but I've never started from scratch - just upgraded. Should I reformat both drives, then use the boot disk to reinstall Windows? What happens to the BIOS when you reformat the master drive or does it matter? Any suggestions for the steps I should take???

This should heve whatt you are looking for. I just copied a 3.2gig drive to a freshly formatted 15 gig drivr and its not difficult.

you can also copy everything over from within windows explorer, if you're interested.
