SB Live xgamer, is it any good?

Is this a good soundcard? I have a diamond sonic s90, would it be a good upgrade?

I bought it recently, I upgraged from an AWE64 value. And I'm very glad I did. It sounds just great, has a digital out if you like that, and a GREAT game bundle! Need for Speed: High Stakes, Theif: the dark project, and Decent 3. I don't really know anything about your current card so I can't say if it would be a good upgrade for you. You'll get EAX support, which is in every game now-a-days, which I think is pretty cool.

Oh! forgot to mention! (sorry) You need either headphones or powered speakers. It won't do unpowered ones. I don't know how it works with headphones but not speakers but it doesn't.

I have an SBL! Value and that works with run of the mill headphones.

Yeah, it'll work with headphones (unpowered) but not unpowered speakers. Pretty weird.

Can you tell me what kind of in's and out's it has on this sound card. i've heard that it has digital out, which is important to me. but i also wanted to know what else was included. this is a one pci-slot card also is it not? i know the soundblaster live is a two pci slot card if you want digital out. i can't find a picture of the card anywhere to look at the input/output devices. thanks a lot
