LOL.... I wish i could help ya out. I've been in the Navy for 8 1/2 years and have yet to set foot on a Aircraft Carrier. /forum/smile.gif
If ya want to get treated like a King, join the Airforce. The only problem with the A.F. in a Jet Mechanic aspect, is that you are specialized on one thing. If you work on F-16's your stuck there usually. In the Navy you get to work on anything in the Navy's aircraft arsenal. I've worked on P-3's, C-130's, and F/A-18's so far. Both in the squadron level and Intermediate repair of the engines.

is your eye that bad? Doesn't seem right that they wouldn't take you because of that.

Do you know the story of the Old Chinese Widower, his only son, and the horse they found?

The story goes something like this:

An Old Man had only one beloved son and the two lived in utter poverty. One day a beautiful wild horse followed the young son home after he had been collecting wood. That was very good.

So the Old Man and his son built a corral for their new treasure, but the horse escaped the very next day. That was very bad.

But the horse returned a few days later and brought with him thirty more wild horses. The Old Man and his son were now rich and they repaired the corral so that none of the horses could escape. This was all very good.

The next day, while trying to ride one of the horses, the young son fell and broke his leg. This was very bad.

A few days later the emperor sent out for conscripts to fight in a hopeless war, but the Old Man's son was not taken because of his broken leg. Every other conscript from their village was killed in battle.
