Hey, this is not hardware-related, but given the high-quality, kindly advice I've seen here over the past year on all sorts of subjects (and a few of the posts in "What is the favorite nerd drink?") ...
Does anybody know a good BBS or advice site discussing wine? As I've mentioned before, I'm getting married (very soon now!) and want to get my future husband something very nice for his birthday, which is three days after the wedding. I thought I might like to get him a case of port or red wine... something that would improve with age and that we could still enjoy on our silver anniversary. (That's why hardware is out! /forum/smile.gif)
I've been surfing around and everything is so commercial... I don't know whom to trust.
As always, I appreciate your help!

This isn't an easy search as one might expect... I'm suprised.
Congratulations. Nice to know you're getting married soon. It was a long engagement wasn't it. /forum/wink.gif

Sorry socalgal, Bleeding Edge, smokin1, and skywalker...
but WW gets the prize for providing the most intoxicating vintage in this thread... such a wonderful surprise as I had when I saw his response! This calls for a toast: >k-clink!<
P.S. Now I know that I should do searches for "vintage charts" or "investment grade wines".

I'm thinking Warres '92 or '94 port, as there are too many French Burgundies to figure out in this time. Sheesh, the confusion over what vintages are likely to be good reminds me of the speculation over which particular Celerons are likely to be overclockable: voodoo and black cat mojo.
