I'd like to put somepictures of our Labrador,
Lucky on my webpge , but tyhey have to be in the right format. I have a couple of photo programs but can't seem to get them in a way that they weill transfer from one program to the other. Not having much time lately to research this, I was wondering if someone could give me a quick rethru on this. Thanks

What I usually do is to have the pictures saved at .jpgs. Jpgs or Jpegs will usually move about pretty freely.

Depending upon what program you are scanning with, you should be able to do so. It will probably want to do it as a .tif by default.

If you need to convert some .tif try IRFANVIEW (http://www.irfanview.com). It's an AMAZING freeware that does a lot of graphics management!

Hi pickel
The easiest and smallest is a jpeg, when you scan the photo in whatever program you are using, choose save as, and drop down to jpeg and save. This file type works great on a web site.

Pickel: I don't know about your scanner software, but with mine (PaperPort), there is no "save as" function. I have to use the Export function to convert file format.

also after you edit it how you want, save it at 72dpi for web sites. That is what you see on the monitor.
