Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

I replaced my ATI video card with a new
Voodoo 3-3500 TVAGP.
The video output was 640X480 because the drivers for the Voodoo were not installed yet.
I installed the drivers and set my new resolution to 800X600.
I went into the Control Panel and went to Add/Remove Programs.
When I highlighted ATI Drivers and clicked on Add/Remove I got this Infamous Windows display:

Rundll32 [X]

This program has performed and illegal
operation and will shut down.
If the problem persists, contact the program vendor

I think maybe I did something "Bass Ackwards"
http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif... while installing the NEW drivers and Uninstalling the old drivers.
Could anyone help me out with this problem ?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank You ..

I believe you are correct. It sounds like you installed the new cards drivers before uninstalling the old ones. Can you come up in safe mode and uninstall all the video drivers? Then I would change the video adapter to Standard VGA. Once Windows comes up again, check that only the VGA adapter is present and reinstall the new card drivers.

I had a similar problem with installing my tnt, you have to switch to a standard vga driver first(now you'll have to go to safe mode probably to do it), reboot, uninstall the old drivers, reboot, then install the new drivers, reboot... then you should be good.

Good luck!
