Asus P3V4X - hesitation in Win98

Just wondering if anyone had an issue w/the computer freezing for just a second or so and then continuing.

M/B is a "new" Asus P3V4X w/the 4.17 drivers
Celeron 300A oc to 450/463
Matrox Millenium VGA card w/Pure3D
Linksys Ethernet 10/100
No Sound card
No Modem

M/B was upgraded from a BH6 which had other problems due to a corrupted BIOS flash...

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

The only time I've had it happen is on a networked computer where I used to work. I'm not sure exactly what caused it, but I suspected it was when it was periodically checking email.
