I got a good deal on computer from a store that was going out of business. The only thing is they did not have or remember the store password or( full armor password as they put it)..So I really can't do much with the computer until I get it figured out.Does anybody know how I can go about doing this or can I just reformat the hard drive over? Any help would be appreciated..

If you boot up with a floppy that has the format utility on it you should beable to reformat the system and start from scratch. I personally have no experiance with "full armor" so I truely can not say it will allow you to do so. I can only say try /forum/biggrin.gif

Full armor is used sometimes where I have a part time job (Stap...An office supply store) and it is very difficult to get around! Unless you reformat...

You may also try to erase the program from dos
boot to a dos prompt and then do a c:dir
to find it and then delete that directory
worth a try

Try booting in "Safe Mode". Some Security programs run from the Auto-exec file, and safe mode bypasses this. If it does, then you can got to the auto-exec and disable it. Then re-boot and your in. then remove it. Can't guarantee it, but it's worth a try.

Format the Hard Drive, your better off killing off all the old stuff anyways.
