have installed a new abit be6-II with memory,cpu and video card..hooked up monitor and turned on computer...all fans to cpu, graphics card,power supply turn on and spin but i get nothing on the computer screen and there is no noise like the thing is working at all....checked and triple checked all connections...monitor works fime on different computer...graphics card works on different computer....all i can think of is the motherboard is bad or i am useing a slocketII adaptor for p3550e is it possible i have the jumpers set wrong...i check them many times also.have it set for 1.6 volts and 100mhz...any suggestions???thank-you

do you get any beeps? do you feel any heat in the cpu heatsink at all? barry

no, no beeps or heat from cpu at all....just put the cpu in different computer and it seems to be workig fine....i'm thinking the motherboard is toast...but it does power up and run my fans but thats it.

Take the mobo out of the case and try it in case it is shorting out against the case with just the ram and cpu in it and see if it posts http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Did you plug the power supply into the motherboard? If so check your case headers and see if you forgot to plug in somthing like the power switch!
