I have a Creative 6X DVD drive and it doesn't seem to want to play Audio CDs for some reason. It reads it but no audio comes out. It drive plays the sound for all my DVDs and games. Any suggestions?

KillerBug 10-30-1999, 09:02 PM is the analougue audio connector from the back of the drive hooked up to your sound card, and are the ends both securely connected? Pantion 10-31-1999, 10:53 AM Sorry for my preview post... I read it real fast and put another thing. /forum/smile.gif Okay here it goes... when you play your DVDs do you use digital output? And the games don't use CD muisc? If yes then it is like killerbug wrote the cable that goes to the sound card is either connected on the wrong plug or it isn't connected. To be sure try to use analog output on the encore dvd player and play a DVD. If no sound comes out then it is the cable. [This message has been edited by Pantion (edited 10-31-1999).] SysOpt.com
