currently my video card doesn't have an irq assigned to it. everything works fine but I was wondering if I would get any increase in frames per second in games if I assigned an irq to it. when I just run my p2 333 I get about 30 fps and when overclocked to 500 I only get 39.5 fps. not much of an increase in my opinion. so maybe an irq to my video card will give me better results

On my system my Voodoo 3 3000 won't work unless it is assigned an IRQ. I have heard of this but wonder if it has to do with which video card or BIOS being used. All I can say is to try it. You can always go back and change it back if your system performs poorly or doesn't load Win.

The newest, fastest cards do. Mine doesn't, and I tried it with and without the IRQ assigned -- no difference except it uses a few more resources with the IRQ enabled.
