I tried out my stuff in a new case. It didn't boot, blank screen nothing. I put it back in the old case and it still won't work. I've tried disconnectin the IDE, floppy and the like. I can't listen for error beeps cause my pc speaker is borken. When I had it in the new case, one of the jumpers came off and I powered up, to a blank screen. I have replaced the jumper but could this have wrecked it. My specs are:
k6-2 450
Chaintech CT-5AMG2 mobo
crystal audio codec
Savage4 32mb AGP
WD 2gb HDD
Quantum 270mb HDD
40x CD
200watt PSU
64mb PC100

PLEASE help!!! Thanks

I've also tried clearing the CMOS.

I'd still go back and check all of your connections, i.e. ide cables, pci, isa and agp cards, processor, etc. Don't forget your ram, make sure it's seated well, and the snap clipc are engaged at the ends.

You might want to buy a little cheap PC speaker to help you identify any boot problems in the future. We all figure problems won't happen after we get through something big, but we never figured on that problem either.

Good Luck In All..
