Hey, do I need to unistall acrobat 3.02 before I install 4?

well just to be on the safe side i would install 4, and then uninstall 3.02 and test it to see if it works, which it should. if it does not, then install a4 after uninstalling 3.02.....

I installed 4 over 3 and found that 3 was still what opened when double clicking .pdf files. So I unistalled 3 and got the message that the program could not be found when trying to open files. Ha, all seams pretty dumb.

You should unistall all prior version of adobe reader PRIOR to the installation of the NEWER version (if you read the install text document it tells you to also)

Normally I would wipe out all previous versions too, but when I got partitionMagic 4, then it would not install by itself. So I had to get 3, install it, then install 4. Once I had that installed, the silly would not work because of a runtime error which made the whole effort useless anyways =-)...it depends on how picky the installer is I guess....
