Would it be good to get a HD fan system for a WD 18GB UDMA/66 that's directly above a WD 20GB UDMA/66? Or should I get an HD kit for one of my 5.25" bays and seperate them a little? I'm assuming these drives so close together would generate a good amount of heat, especially if the PC's left on all day.
Yes, specially if your HD spin @ 7200rpm...
I like these HD coolers:

I have 4 "Triple Han HD Coolers" in my case and my HD are so cooooool...

I have been thinking about it also.
My problem is I do not want to give up a 5-1/4" bay for a hdd. I only have 3 3-1/2" bays and two drives with the fans installed would not fit;(
The reason I do not want to give up a 5-1/4" bay is because I am going to customize the only space I have left soon. Something like the Live platinum has, for audio and video inputs. Would I still be able to do this if I put one of my drives there? I will need about 1-1/2"s clear behind the knockout.

I use this one. I read a review on a few hard drive coolers a while back. This was rated as one of the better ones. It performs as well as a 3 fan setup that takes up a big bay even. It comes with a 5 year warranty. It works great. $12 from www.2cooltek.com (http://www.2cooltek.com)
