just wondering since I'll be putting together something soon. and was wavering on a p3, athlon or celery. I don't really wanna buy a p3 but if games and applications are going to be optimized for sse in the near future I might have to go with a p3. my friends got a p3 and I've watched southpark episodes with realplayer G2 on his pc and mine and for some reason his looks clearer. is because his p3 handles these streaming media better and is realplayer written to use sse. it's probably his voodoo3 2000 card and .25 dot pitch monitor, I'm not sure. If no games or mainstream applications are going to be written for sse in say the next 6 - 12 months then I'm probably gonna go with a celery 366@550.
