I was talking to a mate last night and he reckoned that the new motorola process or in the Mac G4 will outperform the intel and amd processors in benchmark tests such as sandra. As i don't know anything about this processor i couldn't argue much. Does any one know any more than me?? Just curious anyway i don't think i'll be converting to a mac!!!

Think of this...every revision of the MAC os makes some older programs incompliant, if you know the speed of a 450 of 500mhz P3 or Athlon on BEos, then you know it is not the CPU at work, it is the operations system with no backwards compatability.
