Was wondering if anyone has any experience with this 56kflex modem? It's one of the few PCI modems around that are not winmodems. Except for the pretty good review (4/5 stars) in the Nov issue of Computer Gaming World, I can't seem to find any other info or review about this modem. Although it isn't cheap ($99), its still lower in price to another USR.

Brian,
I can't say as I know where any other reviews of the modem are (have you tried the User Reviews on sysopt.com?). However, I know that there are a few places around that sell USR modems (v.90) for between $65 and $80 before shipping.
Check out US-Itek (http://www.us-itek.com) and NextGeneration Computers (http://www.nxgen.com). I picked up an internal v.90 USR data/fax/voice modem from NexGen for about $80, after tax (they're a local store for me). US-Itek has roughly the same prices... about $65 for USR data/fax and about $10 more for data/fax/voice.

P.S. (added in edit) - I have had very good success with the modem I bought... it's an OEM modem, but it includes drivers and a partial manual on 3.5" floppy. Haven't connected at much less than 50.6k with it!
