I thought I had tried everything but went to the UMAX website and remembered something I hadn't tried.
You have to hit CTL+ALT+DEL and then shutdown everything but SYST and EXPLORER then install the drivers, not sure why cuz right now I don't have an antivirus on...but that did the trick.(I know an anti-virus can interfere with installing programs)
Boy guys, I am getting better and better at this, I keep solving my own problems!
Of course, I am a chicken and haven't rebooted the system yet to see if all is well.....I just have to be in the right frame of mind before i do it, lolol!
