Not all Network-drives could be restored

Cannot say at the moment which system(winxp etc.) since device is not here.

Not all network-drives(e:) could be restored is popping up on a friends laptop.

I have seen that it could be a winxp-quirk.

And it must be waited a bit(15 sec) before logon.


BTW: laptop is crashing often.

Is the user mapping drives to other computers and are the oher computers turned on when the lappy boots up?

Often there is a timing issue at boot time with wireless connections because they are slow to initialize.
After booting, open windows Explorer and the volume may show as not connected.
Click on the volume and status will instantly change unless the remote end is down.
