PLEASE HELP ! i'm going crazy again..

i am getting all kinds of errors.
i have soyo 5ema+, k6/2 500, 128 pc100 ram, voodoo3 3000..
i put it all together yesterday.. loaded win 98 with no problems.. i used it for 3 or for hours on the net and everything seemed fine.. no errrors at all.. then i remembered i did not install the software that came with my voodoo3 3003. when i inserted the disk in the cdrom it started up and then my screen went blank.. from that point on i have had all kinds of errors.. a few examples, a fatak error has occurred at 0028:c0026c2d in VXD NTKERN (01) + 00005D09.. the current application will be lost.
another error was +invalid Vxd dynamic link call from VMN (01) +0000b24c to device "43e3" service EA77. your windows configuration is invalid .. run windows setup program again to correct this problem.

now , i have very limited computer knowledge and don't know how to correct this.. i did call voodoo tech support and recieved no answers. basically i'm own my own ..
can anyone give my any direction ! PLEASE

Have you tried a safe mode boot, pressing the F8 key when you see starting win98, and then go into control panel and delete all the video drivers there and reboot?

Let us know what happens.

this happened to me also, i have a Voodoo3 2000.I had to reload the drivers from the voodoo CD and that fixed the problem.

ok , at the moment i don't know what the hell is up! i'm trying my best to keep some patience. i have been working with this solid for 12hrs.
i have reformated and reloaded my hard drive 2 times. each time everything went great until i installed the drivers for the voodoo3 3000. now it's something different.

i reformatted my hard drive and attempted to load win 98.. once it got to the point where it was searching for plug and play devices it gave this error:::
Msgsv32
THIS PROGRAM HAS PERFORMED AN ILLEGAL OPERATION AND WILL BE SHUT DOWN.

this happened 2 consecutives times.. that were i stand at the moment.. any helping?

Are you updating the driver right after the installation is finished?

Check their website to see if you have the latest drivers available.

Are the 98 install is finished, what does it show up as in device manager?

nathan.. i am using to pc right now.. i reformatted and loaded win98 again then i loaded my modemn driver(skipping the soyo motherbd driver and voodoo3 3000 driver. thats it for now.. i did go to the soyo web site and downoaded the latest bios and installed no promblems. i also download the agp drivers but do not know what i am doing.. just a few minutes ago i was downloading something and received a fatal error , something to do with VXD... now , i noticed that the agp driver i am trying to install has something to do with VXD. there are no instructions telling me how to install those drivers. i checked diplay under device manager and it showing a standard pci graphics adapter(vga)..please help me out! thanks

aslo, if i can explain.. i have little dots on most of my web pages.no the entire page. hard for me to explain..

turns out my whole problem was my video card.i would also like to think joe, he pointed my problem. i could not get my soundbaster16 wave effects to operated properly.windows boot up no sound also received all sorts of VDX errors and VMM errors.. Joe is the man, no one could figure it but him. thanks joe
