Mntsnow RobRich 02-21-2000, 05:27 PM Windows2000 is actuallt NT 5.0. This means that most Win9x driver will not funtion with it. For a quick fix, you might try loading WinNT 4.0 drivers for it, assuming they exist. Sometimes it will work with w2k, sometimes not. oxOGradiusOxo 02-22-2000, 12:59 AM My Diamond SupraSonic II 112k modem works fine under Win98se. I was almost sure I'd have some problems under Win2000, but I went ahead anyway. Now running on a dual boot config, I installed the Win9x drivers in Win2k for the modem. (Win2k says it has installed it's own drivers for the modem, but it shows up under the Multifunction adapters with a yellow ! beside it) The Win9x drivers *seem* to work fine under Win2k. Both modems show up, but whenever I go to dial to my ISP on them, Windows waits a few seconds then brings up an error message about the modem not being connected. Well, I'm under Win98se now, and hoping someone can help! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif SysOpt.com
