As of late, like for a few days now, i am getting some perioodic random freezing issues. Something we all go through and like us all I just think my system and computer should run perfect with no issues.

I got a new ( actually its an older model ) mouse a few days ago, and had one heck of a time getting it to work at all at first, then solved that issue, but found the drivers to be so outdated, that I spend a day or two Googling about and found all i needed there. It is another of my best liked 'Logitech MX700 mouse' which i was thrilled to find at a low cost on Amazon, in perfect condiiton.

Just earlier today, i found the right driver for it,or the best and latest listed by many sites, and it solved almost all my issues. They seem to work great. I could tell right off.

Now, all of today I am getting random freezes, of which don't happen very often, but often enough to wonder what is causing this. I just got done re-playiing my favorite golf game, and a few funny things just came about like freezing some, sound cutting out, then coming back like a minute later,etc...
I've had some issues before similar and always thought it was not a virus or some other, but a HW conflict with the sound driver and mouse driver possible.

I wish somebody, with all the miriad of apps, would invent a program that scanned all of your computer for such conflicts, so i could tell just what it is.

Overall , everything works great and runs fine, despite this small glitch that is big as day when it happens. lately i'm also wonering why so many processes are running in the system. I've looked over and read what they are and most are OK and needed. I delete, and or stop, uninstall anything that causes such conflicts the proper way.

Windows XP is a fine system, but like so much of Microsoft stuff, it gets harder and harder to have all ones installed apps, to run without any hickups, and my computer has just alot of stuff on it now. Amazing it runs this good. Not too thrilled with this processor and would not opt. for a tri core again. Very over rated, and find it is part of the issues, due to opening things before next action too often, or I believe not enough cache in the chip. I would once agian get a later model dual core next time, that is a bit faster. This one runs games great though, as that is what i do alot, so i'm happy enough there.

Sorry once again to be so winded. You should meet me in person. I am nice to talk to, but many have said i talk too much at times. Just very sociable and have alot to say. Thks to all you moderators for responding to my questions.

P.S. Contrary to whoevers thoughts, overall my computer works excellent most of the time. these issues are of late, and some may be due to installed software. I uninstall and clean up the registry if i feel they are intrusive or cause issues.
