For some reason when my 'puter boots,it counts all the ram.It didn't do this before.How can I change it so it doesn't count?

Hitting ESC would skip it.

This can usually be disabled in the BIOS. I think its called "Quick Power On Self Test" on my ABIT MB. Its Under the Bios features Setup menu. It is probably called something else with other mfgs.

Yep,went into the bios and found that "Quickboot" got disabled somehow.Also,found my clock had backed up to 1-1-00.Hmmmm,figured my CMOS battery was weak(2.5 years old).Popped a new one in and everything is 10-4.....Thanks guys.....DawgTuff.
