internet shows working

My sis-n-law brought her Acer laptop to try on my wireless internet. Said she could not get it on her wireless in the last week or so. ON my sys it shows that it is connected to my wireless as excellent. The internet button in turned on, but no internet. I would appreciate your tips. Thank you.

Will it connect when wired?

Yes it will.

Make sure it is using the Window wireless networking. Some laptops come with a program on it to do that and when it jams up, switch and that has always worked for me.
