ok I have a maxtor 10gig hard drive and my OS is windown2000 I have this option when I click on properties on my hard disk it had a option call write cache enable. Right now I have it checked. So anyone knows is it good to leave it checked or uncheck?? and what is write cache enable mean or what does it do? Cuz after installing win2000 my hard drive keep lagging when ever i open some program and it really bother me. I have a p233mmx with 64mb ram. So if anyone can help me i will be really appreciated.
