Is there some way to delete duplicate music files within I-Tunes? I have in some cases as many as 3 of the same songs within albums, not sure how it got this way. Running version 10.0 of I-Tunes. I know I can delete individually but was wondering if there is a more efficient way to do this, and also can someone explain how this can happen?? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You did not mention if this is a Windows machine or Mac.

You may have multiple versions of the albums. You can right-click any song and select "Show in Windows Explorer". See if you indeed have the albums in different locations. Delete any redundant folders. You will then get an error (exclamation point) in iTunes. Delete all of them and you will be done.
