I have a HP ze5375us Laptop with an Ambit T60H424 wireless internal card which is 802.11b.
How can I find out if there is a wireless g card that will fit and work with the
HP laptop. Since the laptop is long out of Warrenty, HP is no help.
I also havent been able to find anything from Ambit, or if they even exist.
The 11b is slow (only11mb speed) I'd like to update to G.

Have you tried a separate USB nic. The route I would go.
Examples:

Your system uses a mini-PCI wireless card. Just look for any 802.1g mini-PCI card.

Yup, have thought of that and have one I plan on using, but its just another plug in to worry about. Would like to not have that if I can find another way.
Thanks

Solved the problem by findind a 802.11g broadcom mini card that fit and worked.
Thanks for responses.
