Hi all-
Does anyone know how to enable printer sharing via the internet with a cable modem? I've tried microsoft network with no luck and VPN requires a dial-up connection which I don't have.
Any ideas?

You must have a direct connection ability...you can try named pipes if your ISP has not disabled that function (mediaone does not allow this anymore).
Do this, first-make sure you know the printers name and make sure it is shared...now start the add new printer wizzard, select network printer, type in the IP of the PC you want to connect to and it's printer share name with 2 slashes
( IE: \\24.129.66.66\HP-5M )
If it connects you will be prompted to install the printer. If you see nothing for about a minute then an error message, oh well...

Thanks BBA, got it working.
Only downfall is I have to shut off Zone Alarm to let him print, otherwise it thinks the printer is offline.
