hi all,
i have an mx300 hooked up to a cambridge soundworks fps2000. i installed the newest reference drivers from a2d [the ones with eax suppt].

i am unable to enable quad speaker support even though everything's connected. in sattelite speaker mode i'm hearing sound from all 4 speakers [therefore everything's connected], but it's just the front signal distributed to all speakers.

does anyone know how to make quad suppt a valid choice in the settings?

thanks.

Hi Errorist-
I too have an MX300 (it rocks) with the newest A3D drivers with EAX support. I am not using 4 speakers at the moment but I hooked up an extra pair to check my system. As long as I have both speaker sets plugged in, I can enable Quad support. If I only have one set, the option isn't there. I think one of your jacks might be deffective or not inserted fully. Not sure, but I think that your FPS 2000 is just taking the signal from one jack and sending it to all speakers.
You might try using only one jack at a time for a test.
