Vista guest account

My daughters HP laptop with Vista runs very slow when using the guest account. No other account is logged in at the time. I searched the net and couldn't find anything. Could it be that this limited account is causing this? If I add another admin account, would the problem go away? Thanks in advance for the help...again.

Doesn't make any sense to me. Is Task Manager available in the guest account? Take a look at what's going on in the background.
