OK guys, thanks to the help of this board i've managed to assemble my first PC.
Now I want to overclock it but without sending my celeron to PC heaven.
Anyone know the OPTIMUM settings ?
In what stages should one increase settings ?
(Please explain any technical bits..doh!)

Setup: 400 celeron, 64mb PC100, Abit BH6, Global VFP32 heatsink.

Just go up slowly. It is kinda difficult to fry a chip. Monitor your temp readings at each level and try not to go above 50C-55C. I go up a small step at a time. The BF6 supports 1MHz jumps in the fsb so once I started to get above 85MHz fsb, I went one /MHz at a time. You might want to run something in your system tray like RC5 to check for stability since it uses 100% of your processing power. To increase stability at high speeds, you can raise the core voltage from the default (2.0V) to as high as 2.3V pretty safely. I wouldn't go above that. Good luck,
Dave
