Hamachi (https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/) is the best VPN solution. There is very little configuration and it is reliable. The free version works fine, especially in conjunction with UltraVNC file transfer.

Lets say I want to use it for bypassing blocked pages and services (Like VoIP) etc. The hostspot shield http://hotspotshield.com/ is a good example and it is free but unstable. Are there others?
