Where's the Bios & Version

How can I find an HP Pavilion 4553Z Bios type and version to determine if I can update it and the video (video can't be updated without later bios). Have been working on a friend's HP 4553Z having just got rid of the combo sound/modem card and finishing up by checking updates--BTW, CL Blaster 56K flash PCI and SB 16 ISA setup smooth as silk and I was afraid of HP Proprietary system (still am). Sorry to be so long but in bootup I can't see Bios cause of the HP screen. Tried to look running HWINFO /UI (on Win 98SE) still no info. Thanks and sorry this is so long--update says HP Osprey BIOS whatever the heck that is--never heard of them

Try hitting ESC when the HP screen shows. This takes you to the BIOS setup in many proprietery systems.
