I just upgraded to Windows 7, 64bit, Home Premium. I have installed just about all the apps I had and have run into an issue with Office 2003 Student Edition. The only thing that works is Outlook. All the other apps start up, but as soon as I try to open a document I get a message saying the app has stopped working and is looking for a solution. It then asks to send the data and after that I get a window saying it stopped working and Windows is closing it.
Is there a known compatibility issue on this?
Thanks

It works fine for me on Win7 64. I would uninstall and reinstall. Be sure to delete all Office folders before reinstalling.

Make sure to install all service packs and updates for Office 2003 as well.

Try running the un-installer via SafeMode with system restore off.
then reboot the machine and try the Re-Install.

Most definitely get the service packs, then make sure to go to Windows update after that and install the updates.. :)

Try to copy the Office 2003 CD to the hard drive, then do the install. And you should slipstream SP3 into the CD first. You can get it here ... about 118MB in size

Thanks all. deleted & reinstalled & all seems to be working correctly. I will have to add the SP3 updates next.
That idea of slipstreaming the office CD sounds good fro when I rebuild other PCs at home.
