Hope thats what your asking about. LOL CrazyCrusher 02-12-2010, 11:22 AM Nope, I got a free copy through steam and i can give it away to a friend if I don't want it but in order for me to do that they need to have steam ;) Rabbitrunner51 02-12-2010, 07:39 PM I see! My computer is currently in process of being rebuilt, and don't have internet, which if not I couldn't even play any of my 'Steam' games. Only drawback to have to have thier site to play what they offer:mad: One question for ya. I can get COD Modern Warfare 2, but I hear there is a process in install ,which requires the internet. is that correct for single player only? CrazyCrusher 02-13-2010, 01:10 AM I heard something of that sort about COD MW2, you can play ur steam games in off line mode, I do it all the time, the option is on the top right side under file it says off line mode. Rabbitrunner51 02-16-2010, 08:14 PM Thats good to know about being able to play steam games, because for the past 7 months or so i haven't had use of my internet. ( old MB issues ) If i ever get this current built finally up and running , I'll try and locate my original disks for HL2 ect...,and see what happens. LOL RR hastypete 02-21-2010, 06:04 AM I actually do not have Bioshock. I'd love to get it, I've been hoping Steam would have it on sale, but missed the free deal. :( Is it like what they did with the Orange box where if you already had HL2 you would have a gift copy? I still have an "extra" copy of HL2 I have not found a home for. - peter hastypete 02-21-2010, 06:11 AM No. I've been hoping for a Steam sale on Bioshock, but then I missed the pre-order deal. I just finished the demo. Awesome. Is this like the Orange Box thing where if you already had HL2 then you could gift the "extra" copy? I still have an extra HL2 copy that I never found a home for. anyone interested? hastypete 02-21-2010, 06:28 PM oops. I thought my first post was "lost" so I retyped it. Rabbitrunner51 02-25-2010, 08:12 PM Excuse the thread side subject here, but in response to Bioshock, i played the game off and on for some time originally, and was personally 'dumb founded', and excited that i actually got all the way through the game...finsihed it. Just be sure to save often as you'll understand when ya play it, and delete some saves game strings after a time due to limited overall saves allowed. ( save sheet has delete, which is to place highlight over string and hit delete at menu choice ) It is 'some piece of work'!!!! voted 'Best game of the year' that year (2008), and for good reason. No other game ever out that looks.plays or compares to it. Fantastic concept and game overall. The sequeal as known, has been out for about two weeks now, and its getting 9 out of 10 from most game site reviewers. Just go out and buy the game if wanted. probably no more then $30.00 or so i'd gather somewheres.:t SysOpt.com
