Get Small Window, Want Big Window

Everytime I open a link or click on a link, My browser window always opens up in small window. Can't seem to find setting where they will always open up maximized.

I am sure there is a setting somewhere, but I know with mine that the way you close the last one will be the same way the new one pops up. So for me, if i open a small one, maximize it, close it, then open it again, it will already be maximized. Does anyone know if there is a setting somewhere for this?

Tried that, I would max and then close, still open up in small window. I tried resizing and then closing, but still no luck.

Mine doe's the same when using win98se but using win95b on another pc, it comes up large.
Go figure!

usually what i do is i'll go ahead and open up a second window and it will come up small. in the address bar i'll type javascript:resizeTo(800,600) and hit enter, which will resize the window and then close it and for that session any window that you open (with your browser) will stay that size.
just a work around, does anyone else have any others?

by the way, the (800,600) in the script above is in reference to the screen size that you're using so if you're using something else just change that...

apostle ... well that's the only trick i know to get the browser window to work right. it works because the resizeTo command is a standard javascript command that the browser will recognize as long as you tell it what it is. i'm not sure of what other kinds of tricks you are looking for so i don't have any links to give you but if you tell me what you want to do i can probably help ya.
