Some time back I asked for suggestions for a useful HTML editor to take the place of my old Front Page -to which I lent the CD with the key and never head of it again. You'd think I would have learnt at my age wouldn't you.
Does MS Office apps e.g. Publisher and Winword do HTML? as I have office 2003. I also have Open Office on my other HD.
I just need to to some final upgrading to my Family Tree then it's going to hard copy and I can leave it there. I'm getting a bit past all this research chaps.
When I retired 20 years ago I hoped I'd finished with research. Huh. NSL.

If you need WYSIWYG, I don't think MS Word is a good choice. Many text editors can read HTML, but I'm guessing you want to see more than just the code.

Oh MK! You keep on drawing these rabbits out of your capacious hat.
I shall have a happy time today with both those links. You've not given me a bum steer in all our dealings (which are mulifarious) what a big word, only wish I knew what it means!
Happy and prosperouis new year to all at Sysopt and all who use the site.

Even with something those Midknyte listed, this link flat comes in handy. One I use and so does JPnyc.

Good morning Train.
I tried MK s two suggestions and finally got the hang of both of them.
I'll have a go at your link later today. You may have read in your papers that we poor benighted souls in the UK are having great dificulties with that white stuff that comes down from above. We get it so infrequently - only every year! - that the authorities don't know how to cope, result, we are isolated in our homes Aaargh, learn from others is my watchword.
Bye from part of Berkshire covered with 8" of powdery snow. No school, no post, no newspapers and no bloody hope. I'm well stocked up with food and drink (especially drink) so I will survive.
