Problem getting a game to load. Rockstar, Wildmetal. Its an older game but, its fun.

I can get it to run really well if I reinstall it every time I boot up. Runs great, no hesitations and I can play
all night if I wish. As soon as I shut down or reboot I have to reinstall the game again to play.

It starts to load and this is the error I get; “DMA video function was called without DLL being loaded.”

Specs are: Asrock 775 dualvsta
Pentium 4 3.4 G
Nvidia 8600GT
1 G memory Corsair
CD-DVD
Creative 7 speaker sound
Feedback MS joy stick
Nothing overclocked right now.
OS Win 7 64 bit

Thanks for any help I may get

I suppose I should ask, how do I resolve this error so I don't have to reload the game every time. It seems to act as though the path is wrong and can't find the dll. Where would I look to check that?

Thanks

Could possibly be that the game is not compatible with Win7 64 bit. That is a 10yr old game after all. So its not installing properly.
