Is this parental software any good?

My co-worker friend told me about this site. It is called K9 web protection. It is suppose to track and monitor what your children surf on the web. Does anyone have any knowledge of this site or product? It says it is free but is it really? Is it worth getting and not having to buy one retail? I just want to find out if anyone has any info on it. Thank you for your time in advance. :t

I can't find a bad review, although there are a few cons from some users. It's free, so I would give a go if you need it.
