I have a computer with a hard drive and a CDROM on the primary ide controller and a CDROM and a zip drive on the secondary controller. I have installed an Ultra ATA/66 Controller to add a second hard drive. I tried to set it up in the CMOS and lost the zip drive and gained the new hard drive however after partitioning and formatting twice, this 13G hard drive only shows 2.7 gig any suggestions?>?? Thanks! Steve P

Here's what I would do. In your cmos, have it detect the controller card as a scsi devise first, hook up both of your hard drives to the controler. then one cd-rom to the one ide controller and the other two to the next. why do you need two cd roms ? is one a burner ? I have that in my set up and it works.

When you enter the system BIOS, you need to check to see if the hard drives are set to LBA or Logical Block Addressing. This could be the reason why your drives are not registering larger.
