Has anyone use this type of networking? Thinking about doing this for my wife's computer so that she can share the printer.
And files on my machine. And how easy was it to install?

Performance is slow compared to ethernet. And depending on how old your phone lines are, you might not like it. Only case I would recommend this setup is if you absolutely cannot install cat cables (like an apt. )
