Sorry if posting here is the incorrect place, but I could not find the best location for this question about the forum. I'm having a password reset issue with my account here and would like this to reach an administrator please.

A password reset generated a temporary password, and I can log in with it, however, when I go to change it now to a personalized one, it gives me a message that the "old" password doesn't match the one on file in order for me to change it to a new one. Please help! Thanks in advance! -Z

are you on this (http://www.sysopt.com/userform.php) page, and are you entering both username and password with no capital's?

I still have to use my temp password and am not able to change it... no, I was not on that page, but even trying to put in my info there it says login already exists so I assume that is a sign UP page rather than sign in or change info page.

The way I try and do it

Quick Links
Edit Options
Edit email and password

In that page before I had the option to enter my old password and then enter a new one and that is where it told me that I had the wrong "old" one.. it did that if I typed it or even copy/pasted it from my email. I am aware of the case sensitive nature of passwords so I don't know if there is a glitch or if I am missing something.

An update: Now when I do those above three instructions it just brings me to a page with one option... "View My Systems" of which I have none.

UserNames are also case sensitive here.

I have e mailed support and also sent a support ticket however one of my friends who has a skype account ws able to change his password earlier this evening so it strikes me as confusing why I and obviously someone else has this issue,

System glitch or something more?

I assure you it is not a simple case sensitive issue (that's the FIRST thing I check).. I was looking to see if it would be different on another PC (browser settings, etc.) but it does seem to be a site glitch.. I get the message:

"The password you have entered does not match your current one. Please press the back button, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that the password is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!"

Is their a site admin that can help?

Re-type Password
This is kind of hidden in the ads on the right side of the screen.

The ad might change - but you have to look to see the "retype password" box.

Arrg! This is frustrating though I appreciate everyone's help. That link prompts a page where all fields are required, and I only want to change my password. "Login already exists, please choose another!" happens when I put my current login in and "Email already exists, please choose another!" is the response to my email.

Ok, I give up- I'll just live with the temp password, just like I have to live with being subject to my own error and pet peeve of using "their" when I meant "there" in my previous post. :)

Thanks anyway everyone!
