How to achieve faster indexing

I have a site developed by one trusted company -Redalkemi and personally feel that they did a great job...The catch however is that Google has indexed only few pages from my site.. Can you site why?????

it takes some time before all of your pages are crawled by google's search bot.. also there can be a problem preventing the pages from being accessed. google mentioned that in order to optimize it, your links should be text links

oh forgot to also mention, google has webmaster tools to manually submit your pages and you can even check the status there as well
