What is the average working temperature for a CPU ?

I'm especially looking for AMD temperatures.

My IBM w/amd 475cpu has an alarm set at 127F. My P100 o/c to 120mhz ran up to 130.2F after 1hr full load with stock cooling, added a case fan blowing across the mobo, cpu, and a larger fan on the cpu.. Now max temp has been 88F after 1hr full load.. DrVette

most K6-2's are good for 60/c but dont really like temp's above 50/c 122/f so try to keep it below that http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
