Virus

My kid downloaded a virus. I ran virus check and deleted the files. The computer runs fine. I am running window 98se. But now evertime I boot up the computer a wiered message appears right before loading the desk top. The message comes from the virus because it is a paragraph about "Buffy the Vampire" How can I get rid of this message. Thanks.

Hmmmm, maybe a Stake in the heart, seriously,I would check with your virus protection support team, ie. mcafee, norton,etc.whoever you use.

you could always try a search with that text and see if you can delete the file

ytay--good call. I ran a search with some of the text and found the file and deleted it. Everything is back to normal. Thanks
