Compaq Presario 4764 BIOS ???

I can't seem to find the Compaq BIOS.
I've tried everything ESC, DEL, F1-F12,
ALT-A thru Z, etc.and still no BIOS setup/info. I'm trying to add a 6 Gig hard drive. So far, I've added a Soundblaster card and 2 Monster II videocards without no worries about my BIOS (I've disabled the on-board soundcard and videocard through Windows device manager). I've downloaded the Compaq BIOS for the 4760 series- just in case I need to Re-Format everything again. I'm going to use the 6 gig as a secondary. I'm aware that I NEED to be in BIOS to accomplish this.

I suggest you find out who the motherboard and chipset manufacturer are. then find their most recent bios and loose the ComQrap affiliation. My Comqrap was limited to 128 megs of ram per slot and a 4.5x multiplier as well as many other functions turned off. My 5304 had a huge improvement in functionability and the Bios is much easier accesed.

normally to get into BIOS on the compaqs it's going to be F10. to get what you're looking for (to put the "bios" partition on the new drive) go here:
