Ok as stupid as this question sounds.. What is the difference between an UDMA/66 7200 rpm hard drive and an ultra ATA/66 7200rpm Hard Drive??

Thanks

Lost it in Riverside

None really. I've only seen udma up to 4 but the terms seem to be interchangeable.

Got this question answered a couple of days ago by Susan. Basically, ultra ATA is the system that allows UDMA 66 to work. Make sense? If that is the case, why are some hd man. labelling as UDMA and some as UATA ? I wish they would settle on a terminology here. Anyway, they are the same thing.
