I have the Linksys WRT0310N router at home and would like to put a password on it. I tried doing this a while ago but my moms dell laptop had problems connecting to it with a WPA password. I dont think I can use the WEP configuration either though because I have six computers in total connecting to it and it only gives me four keys.

So what can I do?

FYI: The six computers all run Windows XP. I have two dell laptops, one sony laptop, one asus laptop, one dell desktop and one self-built desktop.

Thanks :t

You only need ONE key. All six computers can use the same security key.

The keys are for redundancy purposes, one of them can be used with more than hundred computers.

In other words, they are spares. The extra keys can be used but they do not have to be used.

I set all the PCs in my house to use the same key that I generated. Everything works fine.
